You can cycle on one of three circular routes around the picturesque district of Tendring - perfect cycling country with quiet roads, low hills and views to the sea. All routes start and finish in Dovercourt - the long route visits the classic seaside resort of Clacton on Sea, famous for its Pier, St Osyth, and Great Bentley which has the biggest village green in England. The routes rejoin in Great Oakley, mentioned in the Domesday Book, before the finish where you can unwind with refreshments, entertainment, and a swimming pool!

This was listed on ebay yesterday but once I calculated the fees I would pay I decided to pull it from ebay and list here instead so I can sell at a lower price direct - you get a better deal and I get a better deal

The frame is in excellent condition. A number of original decals have been removed and the main name logo is a little raggedy but these can be replaced quite easily. It originally retailed for about £900

I have been over the frame with a scotch brite pad to get it as close to its original shine as possible - there are still a few small marks from normal usage if you look very very closely but no big dings or scratches etc. The titanium really seems to glow rather nicely.

No damage to the frame, never been crashed. Weighs about 1450g

I have also approximately calculated the reach and stack which are:

Reach: 395mm Stack: 560mm

Frame contains a DataTag and I have all the documentation so should be able to transfer ownership over.

The Easton EC90 SL carbon fork is great, really stiff, was about £200 new I think. It weighs about 365g

The frame is amazing to ride, super comfortable for all day rides and very responsive and it always looks good!

Greater Haywards Heath Bike Ride 2016

Now in its sixth year, the Greater Haywards Heath Bike Ride is set for Sunday 10th April and the organisers are hoping the sunshine will return, together with riders old and new, to enjoy another wonderful day in the saddle.

The 2016 Bike Ride will, again, have four routes – from the family friendly 12 mile to the ‘Wiggins Way’ at 74 miles for cyclists wanting a challenge! All riders will be ‘chipped’ once more so everyone will know just how well they did and the routes have been amended to ensure there are proper facilities (including ‘comfort breaks’) en route and Feed Stations for the longer ride. There’ll also be a warm welcome home to tired riders in The Broadway with live music.

But, as Chairman, Mike Oliver, says: “Our Bike Ride is a day for families too; this year, with the help of our sponsors, we’re raising money for the Maternity Unit at the PRH so we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of riders to what we hope will be a fantastic day of fun in the April sunshine!”

A very lightly used FSA Slk light bb386 chainset.

175mm

50-34. compact

Hollow carbon arms- it's the lightest chainset i've ever owned but in the wrong size as I need a 170mm.

Would gladly swap for somthing equivelent in 170mm compact.

There is some superficial scratches on the decals which are a little fragile- no gouges or anything, just visual imperfection.

I think you have a choice of BB standards to go with this- although would prefer you do your research to make sure you can run it in your frame.

Based in Epsom if you fancy looking/collecting/swapping. ta!

Devon Dirt

The Devon Dirt is an annual off road endurance bike event, with a mixture of off road tracks and country lanes, usually between 55Km and 70Km. It’s organised by CTC Devon in association with the Bigpeaks Bike Shop in Ashburton. It’s a non-competitive challenge – i.e. we want everybody to get round the course in their own time safety, and enjoy a great day off road in Devon.

The Devon Dirt will be held on 17 April 2016. The event will start at 9.30!

The organisers offer limited support to help you get around the course, we provide feeding stations, usually with cold drinks and cakes along the route, and Bigpeaks will supply a mechanic in case you have a breakdown. You should however be self sufficient in terms of food and basic repairs, and it’s a good idea to ride with a small group or a friend if possible.
Finishers get one of our famous and cool T-shirts (paid for by your entry fee), together with a certificate, and you can keep your entry number board.

Hello, I'm selling my beloved Campagnolo Bora 35 tubular wheels.

These are great wheels, very few dry miles since I bought them a year ago, roll very well, climb very well, sound great and are very stiff to boot - I'm 93kg and can't get them to flex. Braking in the dry is on par with my alloy Ksyriums!

The sale includes; the wheels, Campag wheel bags, Campag red brake pads (almost new), QR's, Zipp valve extenders, and Michelin Pro 23mm tubular tyres which were fitted in Dec 15 so still loads of life in them. Cassette is pictured but not included.

The price includes postage.

The rear QR is scuffed but this is not detrimental to the wheels or their fabulous performance.

The Surrey Hills Gravelcross CX Sportive is an awesome ride, mixing the back hills and features a 3km enclosed gravel start and finish loop within the event base itself!
Based in Cranleigh Showground the edge of the ever popular Surrey Hills, the Gravelcross CX is a blast from the word go! The first three kilometers are on an enclosed gravel circuit within the showground itself (see below), before you head out into the hills on a mixed course featuring the best of the magnificent network of back lanes, fire roads and tracks that this prime cycling destination has to offer! And of course, we will keep you fuelled and on track with the full package of organisation and support that you can rely on at Wiggle CX Sportive Series events!
The full course option for the Gravelcross is an intense 60km, with almost 1,300m of climbing packed into that distance. So a bit shorter but a lot sharper than other some of the other events in the series; underestimate this one at your peril!

With a course running out east from it's Reigate start, this is a treat of a ride, flowing from the North Downs out towards Kent Weald around Sevenoaks and Hever Castle.

It's a nicely paced and balanced route, which eases you into your day with it's early miles providing a perfect leg stretcher, before delivering you into a deceptively hilly mid section that set's the biggest of the day's challenges. From there, it's a long and fast run to the finish back through the heart of some truly stunning countryside.
